Established in 2015 as the passion project of Sandra Fowler, Buttlove Farms a little half acre farm in Gunning, NSW with a small number of happy, healthy birds who free range all day long. In 2013, Sandra Fowler found herself after a couple of chickens for eggs. She immediately, and rather unexpectedly, fell in love with the fluffy friends and in 2015 began breeding her chickens in earnest. Initia

lly focusing on crossbreeds, Buttlove Farms has begun a transition toward purebreeding. Quite apart from breeding, however, we focus very heavily on education, science-supported-choice-led husbandry practices, training roosters, and improving flock welfare through basic care.
