Friends of New England Rail Trail (FoNERT) were very honoured and grateful to attend & be a recipient of funding at the annual Community Partnerships Program event hosted by the Regional Australia Bank in Guyra on 23 September 2025.

The funds allocated to Friends of New England Rail Trail will help continue the work we do to support both Glen Innes Severn Council & Armidale Regional Council to establish the proposed New England Rail Trail. Fellow funding recipients were all from other local community groups with a total amount of $69,054.07 making its way back into the Guyra local community.

Thank you to Regional Australia Bank and those supporters who nominated FoNERT to be a part of the program! 🙏
