We are looking for an experienced Farm Hand/Machine Operator to join our Macadamia Orchards in the Gympie region. This dynamic role offers a wide variety of tasks and responsibilities, including, machine operation, irrigation maintenance, use of farm software and mobile apps, as well as manual tasks.

About the Successful Candidate:
• Competent in the safe operation and basic maintenance of a wide range of agricultural machinery.
• Capable of learning and managing the technical aspects of irrigation scheduling & maintenance, soil biology, and fertilising practices.
• A great communicator, self-motivated, open-minded & respectful towards colleagues and other team members.
• Aware of and committed to following workplace health and safety regulations.
• Able to potentially travel between/work across multiple sites in Gympie as required
• Able to commit to Early starts or late nights as the season progresses
• Chem cert would be advantageous

• 35–45 hours per week (weather dependent), on casual or permanent basis depending on your personal circumstances and priorities.
