Update on our Egg Hydrolysate, cracked the lid after 10 days, welcomed by a sweet sulphery smell 👌, will send a bit away for testing.
Mean time great weather for winter planting, 22 mm rain, coat seed, plant & roll.
Irrigate tonight and looks like more rain next week🤞

What do you do with 900 undersized eggs? Our first go at Egg Hydrolysate (liquid fermented egg fertilizer)
This will be used in coming weeks to coat our winter multispecies pasture seed prior to planting.

Plenty of egg shells to have a go at a liquid calcium fert as well.

UPDATE

17 days later, cracked the lid and,
It smelled ok, slight sweet smell.
Poured through a fine sieve and bottled in airtight drums. Ready to coat seed with.
