🎉 Celebrating 55 Years of Gympie Meals on Wheels! 💚

At our 2026 Annual General Meeting, our committee took a moment to reflect on an incredible 55 years of serving the Gympie community.

From our beginnings in 1971, thanks to the Lions Club and Dr D. B. Nimmo, to the essential community service we are today, our purpose has always been the same — helping people remain independent in their own homes through nutritious meals, care and connection. 🍽️💚

A heartfelt thank you to every volunteer, staff member, committee member, supporter and funding partner who has been part of our journey. Your dedication has helped make the past 55 years possible.

Here's to celebrating our history and continuing to make a difference in our community for years to come! 🥰
