Dear Valued Customers,

After many discussions with our team, we have made the difficult decision to close on SUNDAYS. ‼️‼️

This wasn’t an easy decision, but Sunday lunch is no longer sustainable due to the higher weekend staffing costs. More importantly, our team has been working incredibly hard and deserves a regular day to rest and spend time with their families.

We also understand that some customers have raised concerns about our weekend surcharge. As a new small family business, we are learning every day and always listening to your feedback. We really value your support and are constantly making improvements to provide the best experience possible for our wonderful customers.

After carefully considering everything, we believe closing on Sundays is the best decision for both our team and our business. This change will allow us to continue serving you the quality food and friendly service you deserve while giving our hardworking team a well-earned break.

✨📗We also have some exciting new menu items coming soon, and we can’t wait to share them with you! 😊

Feeling so happy and proud today to see Chef Tae living his dream and running his own restaurant, MEE KIN THAI Cuisine in Gympie ❤️ Many of our customers may remember Chef Tae from his time at Chok Chai Thai. He has always been one of the most talented, hardworking, and passionate chefs we’ve had the pleasure of working with.

We recently stopped by to visit and enjoy a meal, and honestly, we were so impressed. The Khao Soi was absolutely delicious, full of flavour and beautifully prepared. Every dish we ordered was fantastic, the restaurant was well organised, and you could really see the care and effort that has gone into creating such a lovely place. One of the best things in life is seeing good people work hard for years and eventually achieve their dreams. Watching Chef Tae build his own restaurant and seeing it doing so well makes us incredibly happy.
