Fairly quiet around the yard at the moment - so time for the fox proofing fix up!! Some of the wire had rusted out , so the last 2 weekends I’ve re dug the trench , removed bricks and old wire , and replaced with new wire, re bricked and buried- still a bit more to do 🤣, I have aches and pains like I’m 80 years old 🤣🤣🤦🏼♂️, I had plenty of non helpers trying to spread the dirt I had dig out 🤣,the things we do to keep our poultry safe! Well safe as possible!! Might have to re attatch the electric fence perimeter, we’ve had a fox hanging around, that got under rusted out wire, and managed to get a young pullet that failed to put them self away so got locked in run ! My mistake I didn’t see her in the dark when I shut them away for the night , all we’ve managed to trap was a clump of fur - smart buggers they are !! We were that close🤦🏼♂️
