Checking in to bring some attention to your farming/rural friends and family.

Sh*ts dry and tough going for many atm!
West gippsland and other parts of Victoria are experiencing an extended dry period and above average seasonal temperatures.
Many of our farming community are battling water issues daily.
Dams and creeks that never run dry are all but a puddle. Cattle are getting stuck in dams trying to get access to drinking water.
Many farmers are chewing into their winter stored feed as there is no pasture regenerating in the paddocks.
Households are buying in water as they rely solely on tank water.
Its stressful and dishearting so if you have farming friend or family check in and see how they are fairing.

Thankfully we have a very reliable spring fed dam to water our stock.
But we are certainly not exempt from needing to make a decision to buy in more winter feed or destock significantly.
