Our Australian Homestead

Our Australian Homestead With a dream of organic self-sustainability, we moved onto 20 acres of land with our 4 kids, 3 pythons, 2 lizards and a dog in Autumn 2013.

Our aim is to be accountable for the food we eat. We acknowledge that in order to eat meat, animals must be killed. By growing and killing our own animals, we can be sure that they live fulfilling lives, and that when they die they are killed in the most humane way possible. Rather than have animals live and die in less than ideal conditions in large-scale farms and abattoirs, our animals live car

efree lives with plenty of light, space, food, water, and are able to exhibit their natural behaviours. We do not enjoy killing our animals. In fact, we find it sad and quite difficult. We believe that this is a necessary process and a way for us to be ethical, conscientious consumers of animal products.
