A beautiful and inspiring legacy ๐ฉท
AN EXTRAORDINARY STORY WITH A POWERFUL GRIFFITH CONNECTION
Since Tuesday evening, many of you, like us, have seen and loved the post from beautiful Griffith resident Merveen Sjollema
It was so eye grabbing and moving with an absolutely beautiful little girl and The Kidsโ Cancer Project logo, that we asked Merveen if we could share it, to which Merveen immediately said yes.
She also suggested we look up Col Reynolds, who she mentions in the post, so we did.
We visited The Kids' Cancer ProjectThe Kidsโ Cancer Project website and immediately discovered an episode of Australian Story from 2014, which highlights the motivation, dedication, and determination of Col, and what the vision of one man has achieved.
We also discovered a very powerful and enduring connection with one Griffith family, which is better to see and admire for yourself, rather than us try and tell you.
Merveen said that Col is an incredible man, but we were left gobsmacked and somewhat tearful for the connections and difference he has made.
The link to view the story is Who we are https://www.thekidscancerproject.org.au/about-us/who-we-are
You will need tissues and about 30 minutes, but it is an incredible use of that time and maybe the most moving story you have heard in some time.
We would like to thank Merveen, Col and The Kidsโ Cancer Project for this absolutely wonderful insight.
