Hey everyone!

Yamba Road has been estimated to reopen at midday tomorrow (Tuesday, March 10) which means that we won't get a mail delivery tomorrow but most likely will on Wednesday.

Our aim is to spend tomorrow in the shop reorganising fridges and setting up the Post Office terminal for a start on Wednesday at 6am as per usual. If the weather happens to change we'll keep you updated.

General store service will be reliant on our suppliers and the stock they are able to deliver.

We'd like to thank everyone who stopped by on Sunday to lend a hand lifting fridges, distracting Darc, and even just check in to see if we needed a hand and have a chat. As awful as flood times are, it really brings out the community spirit that we love so much about Harwood.

Good morning, we've made the choice to close today (Friday, March 7). With a second day of no deliveries (mail or food suppliers), we have nothing to open the shop with.

We've made sure all uncollected parcels and counter mail are safely up out of flood levels and will reassess over the weekend.

If you can empty your po box, we advise that you do - if by Sunday we're expecting flood, we'll empty them and keep the mail at a safe height in the shop until we can return.

Please stay safe and look after each other.
