Travel safe 🚙
🚙 Travelling through the Flinders Ranges and Outback? Book your station stay ahead to avoid missing out!
One of the best things about travelling through regional South Australia is the freedom to explore at your own pace — but when it comes to staying on a working station, a little planning goes a long way.
Our Station Stays SA properties are unique, remote and often have limited accommodation and camping sites. With growing demand, many properties are now booking out well ahead, particularly during school holidays and long weekends. Contact the station in advance and secure your spot.
By booking ahead, you can:
✅ Make sure there’s a place waiting for you
✅ Avoid disappointment after a long day on the road
✅ Help our station hosts plan for your arrival
✅ Give yourself more time to enjoy the experience
🤠 Once you’ve booked, please remember that every station has its own way of doing things. These are working properties, so please take a moment to read the property information, respect the station’s rules and arrive within the nominated check-in times. If your plans change or you’re running late, contact your host as soon as possible.
A little consideration goes a long way in helping our station hosts provide a safe, enjoyable experience for everyone. So, if a station stay is part of your next adventure - please plan ahead, book your destination before arriving and remember you are staying at someone's home so respect their rules.
