A very overdue post for these two gigantic pillars.. Hannah Maltby (winemaker) and Owen Littlejohns - Wines (vineyard manager) have now been part of the MFW train for some years. And over this time we have ridden many highs and lows. But the love and commitment to the whole team, personal and professional and to the business and amazingly to myself is something to be proud. I am incredibly fortunate. And I hope you can stand back as harvest is firmly in the rear mirror, and take stock of your contribution to those around you. Thanks x

Owen pulled together this little video after our Chenin day. I love our team and can’t believe the extent of what they do and what we are now witnessing. Oh and how good is Chenin Blanc ?? Thanks to everyone involved.

In what will be our 3rd harvest since planting chenin in Don Valley in 2017, weeks are incredibly excited and impressed by the vines and how good the fruit is tasting. We pick Sunday.

Harvest 2026 - early mornings in Woori Yallock. Pinot and Chardonnay incoming! Amazing few days with friends picking, lots of cooking, grapes being stomped and nice bottles consumed.

We are excited to announce, in conjunction with Attica, the much anticipated launch of our inaugural 2024 ‘Phantom Farm’ Don Valley Chenin Blanc. Only 300 bottles were produced, following 7 years of patient cultivation.

To celebrate, we invite you to join us at Attica for a 5 course dinner specially curated to pair with 9 Mac Forbes wines.

For the last few years, and I have been discussing her painting a scene to celebrate place. She has already painted the beginnings of our yarra junction site.
