Thrilled to be welcoming back to this Saturday's Live Music Sunset Sessions (4.30pm to 8pm) ....
Andrew Borg
Guitarist / Singer / Songwriter / Teacher.
Andrew started playing guitar at the age of 12.
He started out as lead guitarist when joining the band scene, playing in many bands by the time he was 30. Being in many different bands helped him become a versatile player , playing lead , rhythm and acoustic and slide in any genre, blues. soul and rock Ballads being his favourite.
At the age of 20-22 Andrew studied vocals with renowned Melbourne vocal coach for 3 years.
His music influences are too many to mention but some of his favourites are BB King, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, Robert Johnson, Paul Rogers, John Waite, John Fogerty, John Mayer and Ian Moss.
In 1994 Andrew won a guitar heat of 60 players run by a Melbourne studio .
Nowadays Andrew is a solo artist and also a music teacher running his own school “Hooked on Music” sharing all his music techniques in both guitar and vocals.

We’re delighted to be hosting our first Melbourne event for 2026, partnering with the iconic Postmaster Hotel in Kew for a refined yet relaxed evening of wine, conversation and discovery.

On the night, guests will enjoy:
- A guided tasting of our current releases
- Our newly inspired Tempranillo collection & Sparkling Rosé
- An exclusive tasting of the rare 2019 Black Bear Shiraz Cabernet
- Roaming canapés throughout the evening
