The forecast is looking just about perfect for a day in Heathcote.

Broken cloud should provide a little welcome shade throughout the day, while spring temperatures make for ideal conditions to enjoy great w**e, good food and a relaxed afternoon outdoors.

The Heathcote W**e & Food Festival kicks off today, bringing together some of the region's best w**e, food and local producers for a weekend worth travelling for.

You can find us at the Sanguine marquee pouring a selection of our newest releases alongside our award-winning Shiraz w**es.

If you'd prefer a quieter pace, our cellar door is also open throughout the weekend. While you're there, you can discover a few w**es that won't be available at the festival, including our new 2025 Lagrein, the much-loved Tempranillo Grenache Cabernet Franc and our limited-edition 2025 Verdejo.

Whether you're joining us at the festival, the cellar door or making a day of both, we'd love to welcome you to Heathcote this weekend.

Five new releases. One festival weekend.

This weekend at the Heathcote W**e & Food Festival, we're offering festival visitors an exclusive first taste of four new vintage releases ahead of their official summer release:

• 2026 White Shiraz
• 2026 Fiano
• 2025 Tempranillo
• 2025 Cabernets

The White Shiraz continues a Sanguine tradition, remaining Heathcote's original White Shiraz and one of the w**es we're most often asked for. Our inaugural release sold out earlier this year, leading many customers to join a waiting list for the next vintage. This weekend offers one of the first opportunities to taste the 2026 White Shiraz ahead of its official summer release.

Our third vintage of Fiano continues to showcase why this southern Italian variety is finding such a natural home in Australia and offers an early preview of a w**e we'll be releasing in the warmer months ahead.

Joining them are the new 2025 Tempranillo and 2025 Cabernets, giving festival guests an opportunity to experience these exciting new vintages before their official release.

Festival visitors will also be able to taste a selection of our award-winning Shiraz w**es, including w**es recognised with major trophies and accolades.

And for those visiting the cellar door, we'll also be pouring the new 2025 Lagrein, available exclusively at Sanguine this weekend.

Coming to Heathcote for the W**e & Food Festival this weekend?

The 2025 Kindred Shiraz is now available online and can be collected from the Sanguine Estate W**es cellar door throughout festival weekend.

Kindred has long been part of the Sanguine story. It delivers everything people love about Heathcote Shiraz: rich fruit, generosity and outstanding value.

While you're collecting your order, make time for a tasting at the cellar door. This weekend we'll be pouring several w**es that won't be available at the festival, including:
