Tomorrow, spring begins. But first, one final winter journey by bottle.
Throughout winter, we’ve been travelling through the M. Chapoutier world, exploring a different wine region with each stop. For our final chapter, we’re coming home to Victoria and a part of the Australian story shaped by collaboration.
Our story grew through working with respected growers and wine families who already knew their corner of Victoria intimately, cockatoos and all. The idea was simple: bring different experience and knowledge to the same table, working with terroir and its people.
In Heathcote, collaboration with Ron and Elva Laughton of Jasper Hill created La Pléiade, bringing non-grafted vines from historic French clonal selections together with Georgia’s Paddock vines.
In Beechworth, a shared biodynamic philosophy with Giaconda created Ergo Sum, shaped by the region’s granite soils.
And in the Victorian Pyrenees, our partnership with the Terlato family created a collection of wines that includes Lieu-dit Malakoff.
For those who would like to travel with us, our final winter collection brings together one 2015 wine from each collaboration. Three partnerships, three Victorian landscapes and three expressions of the same season.
The Australian Collaboration Trio is available via the link in bio, alongside every region from our Winter Wine journey, until the end of this week.
