We're proud to share that our Dragonfly Shiraz has been named in Ray Jordan's Top 100 Reds, receiving an impressive 93 points.

Crafted from estate-grown fruit in the Ferguson Valley, Dragonfly Shiraz is all about vibrant berry fruit, subtle French oak and the elegant, medium-bodied style that has become a hallmark of our region.

"Solana" means the sunny side of a hill or valley. It was a name our previous winemaker, Simon Burnell, chose with our beautiful Ferguson Valley property in mind.

Tempranillo was the first alternative variety we planted back in 2009. It arrived as the cool cousin to our traditional varieties and quickly earned a loyal following.

From its very first vintage, Solana Tempranillo has been embraced by judges, wine writers and, most importantly, our wonderful Willow Bridge customers. I always loved taking it to wine shows and hearing it described for its ""silky, fine-grained tannin structure.""

Even today, it's still one of my favourites.

For me, it's one of the very few red wines I'd happily score 10 out of 10. ❤️

Introducing our Wine of the Month – Solana Tempranillo.

As the days grow cooler, there's no better time to pull the pizza oven out, gather family and friends, and share a bottle of Tempranillo.

We've been enjoying ours alongside homemade wood-fired pizzas, good conversation and the simple moments that become lasting memories. With vibrant plum and berry fruit, savoury tannins and a beautifully lingering finish, it's a wine made for shared plates and relaxed evenings.

🌿 Looking back to move forward.

These final photos capture an estate beginning to find its identity—from the original entry sign and expanding vineyard to the growing winery that laid the foundations for today.

Every vintage, every new block planted and every improvement was another step in a journey that continues more than three decades later.

Looking back through these archives reminds us that great vineyards aren't built in seasons—they're built over generations, with patience, persistence and a deep respect for the land.

Thank you for being part of our story.

✨ 95 Points – Bookends Fumé Blanc 2025
Described as ""complex, layered"" with a beautifully chalky, textural finish, Erin praised the wine for showcasing everything to love about the Fumé style while allowing the fruit to shine.

✨ 95 Points – G1-10 Chardonnay 2025
Recognised for its restraint, poise and effortless texture, with a long, lemony finish that Erin described simply as ""an excellent wine.""

🌱 From a paddock to a working winery.

After the vines were planted came years of nurturing, learning and growth.

These photos capture some of the people and moments that helped shape Willow Bridge Estate during its early years. From establishing vineyard blocks and building winery infrastructure to sharing our wines with visitors, every step played a part in creating the estate we know today.

Like many family-owned wineries, our story has always been about people as much as place. Behind every bottle are decades of dedication, long days, and a team who believed in what Willow Bridge Estate could become.

Looking back, it's incredible to see how far we've come.
