Last week at the Sydney Royal Easter Show, I had a fabulous time showing my beloved Hampshire Down and Lincoln sheep. I want to thank everyone who helped me with unloading, feeding, watering and leading sheep in the ring.A special thankyou to Hope Sestanovic, the students from Menai High School, and other schools and many others as my team were unable to be there.
The highlight of the show was my 2024 drop Hampshire Down ewe, which had won Champion Ewe in her breed classes, taking out Supreme ASSBA Breeds Prime Lamb Ewe.

We are just waiting to go in the ring for judging at the Sydney Royal Easter Show, the sheep are looking good and I can't wait to see how they go!
If you' want to come and check out the sheep we are here until Monday afternoon , and we love to catch up with everyone while we are here.

Yesterday, Saturday 7th March, Jurambula Hampshire Downs and Allaray Lincolns had a wonderful day at the Goulburn Show. The Lincolns attracted a lot of interest as usual while the Hampshire Downs did us proud. Our group of one ram and two ewes won the Interbreed Group, and one of the 2024 drop ewes won Champion Interbreed Ewe and went on to win Supreme Sheep of the Show. That's twice at two shows already this year that she has won that!!
A big shout out to Jess, it's always fun going to shows together, and great work Thomas, he is really putting in the effort and it's wonderful to watch him becoming more confident with every show..

Jurambula kicked off the 2026 show season at the Henty Show yesterday.

We exhibited 2 older rams and 2 older ewes in both Hampshire Downs and Lincoln breeds, and across both breeds, we were awarded Champion and Reserve Champions.

Our Lincoln ram went on to win Reserve Interbreed Champion Ram, with the Hampshire Down ewe awarded Champion Interbreed Ewe.
She then went on to win Supreme Sheep of the Show.

An incredible achievement and a testament to the quality and consistency of our breeding program.

Thank you to the Henty Show Society for hosting such a well-run and enjoyable day, and to our judge, Charlotte, from the Closeup Poll Dorset and Suffolk Stud for her time and expertise.
