We've had a few people reach out following recent new and now today's news regarding the suspect positive H5 avian influenza detection in a wild Giant Petrel near Hawks Nest.

We'd like to reassure our customers that it's business as usual here at Mid Coast Eggs. 😊🐔

Our farm remains unaffected, and we continue to operate under strict biosecurity measures every single day. Protecting the health and wellbeing of our birds has always been our highest priority. 🦺🧼🐓

💚 Our Farm Gate is open as normal.
🥚 Fresh eggs are available as usual.
🚜 Our team remains vigilant and committed to maintaining the highest standards of animal welfare and food safety.

Australian Eggs has confirmed that there have been no detections in commercial poultry, egg production remains unaffected, and eggs continue to be safe to eat. 💛

As always, we'll continue to monitor the situation closely and follow the advice of industry and government authorities.

Many years ago, our wishing well was established as a way to give back to the local community, originally raising funds for the Laurieton Ambulance Station. What started as a simple collection tin has grown into something we're incredibly proud of, allowing us to support a wide range of community groups, charities, and local families in need. 💛

🚚 Port Macquarie Region
• Usual Monday deliveries will be delivered on Saturday 6 June.

🚚 North West Region
• Usual Monday deliveries will be delivered on Tuesday 9 June.
• Usual Tuesday deliveries will be delivered on Wednesday 10 June.

If your business will be closed or you would like to vary your usual order, please let us know as soon as possible.
