The Purple Broccoli just keeps on giving this week. I'm so in love with this crop now that I've figured out how to grow it well in SEQ 🤭. The previous 2 years were a failure so I held back... but there will be double the rows next year 👍

I don't know why I bother some weeks... in the space of 24 hours, rats smashing the tomatoes, cucumbers and beetroots, bandicoot ripping out new seedlings and this morning raided by cocktails.

It's not just the hundreds of dollars damage, but the hours and hours of physical work, raising seedlings, nurturing and planning. I'm so close to done!! 😑
