Something Turkish is a mobile cafe serving authentic Turkish cuisine. We are focused on being low waste and sustainable, from purchasing our produce to food service. Supporting local, ethical businesses, using organic produce and strengthening community relationships is at the core of our business. We support a different charity each month and are proud to be an ongoing Sea Shepherd Retail Whale!

Join us on the 27th November at The Grand Poobah for a night of solidarity and resistance~

In the face of the ongoing, brutal, ever-expanding, illegal and inhumane occupation of Gaza, with increasing violence in the West Bank, we have decided to hold another United for Palestine fundraising event in collaboration with TPAN - Tasmanian Palestine Advocacy Network. Our past events have been an opportunity for local musicians, artists, activists and the wider Hobart community to raise awareness and funds to support the local and global resistance of Palestinian oppression. We hope to once again offer a space and vehicle for positive change, and invite you all to come along and get involved. More details to come. Free Palestine 🇵🇸🕊️

Yesterday was over 12 hours on the pans!
After a mammoth shift like this I usually feel like Howard left out in the sun. However, after miscalculating my amounts and realising I had half as much work to do, I cruised through the 12 hours feeling like a fresh Vince!

This years festival is shaping up to be nothing short of epic!
Unfortunately we will not be open to the public this month. However, we will be behind the scenes feeding hungry crew and artists at various M**o venues. Keeping them fueled and fed for all their hard work!
