You asked, so we dug! 🌿

At the request of so many of you, we’ve just added a small batch of Russian Purple Comfrey root divisions to the store.

If you’ve tried growing comfrey before, you’ll know it’s vastly easier, quicker, and more reliable to establish from fresh root divisions than starting from seed. Just plant them out, give them a good soak, and let them get to work building your soil and feeding the local pollinators. 🐝

These are fresh from the garden, 100% plastic-free packed, and available in very limited seasonal numbers.

💜Friday Flower 💜

This lady is certainly making a statement on our garden right now.
She goes by the name of self heal or Heal All (Prunella Vulgaris) and gained its name for the healing capacity of the plant which was said to have no equal in treating your own wounds.

Very easy to grow from seed or clump divisions she will cluster and form a low spreading shrub.
The leaves and shoots can be eaten like spinach raw or cooked. Cooking makes it less bitter.
For tea the stem, leaves and flowers can all be used.

With beautiful flowers to boot I think this one is a winner in the garden.

These were one of my first skincare creations, and they're still a favorite so while some of my first products will soon be discontinued from the website I haven't yet the heart to stop making this one.
Made with our hand-harvested calendula and lavender, infused in oil and blended with beeswax, shea butter, and coconut oil.
