Captain Blighs Monthly Tasting Bar third Friday of every month. Colonial Ale produced as it was under the Colonial laws of the 1800's. Malt, hops, yeast and water. How easy?

British Empire purity laws of four ingredients. All produce has to be grown locally. Great Barley, Premium Hops and water that's the envy of the world right on the doorstep. This is what makes a great Ale. Tasmania's rich apple growing history dates back to 1788, when Captain William Bligh planted Australia's first apple tree at Adventure Bay, Bruny Island. Using produce sourced from this very region, Captain Blighs sets out to produce heritage cider, using 100% Tasmanian apples. Argh

Loading up the fridge for the book launch of THE EXTRAORDINARY FLORENCE STOKER, by our very own Co-owner Karen Brooks. The launch is at the Peacock theatre tonight, and hosted by fullersbookshop. Might be the odd ticket left. The Demeter was named and inspired by this book, and of course if Dracula is front and centre so is the Blood Orange Stout. So….. tonight we celebrate and you can enjoy a 20% price drop on the bottle price. Only at the brewery tonight as we will be too hungover to be at Salamanca Markets tomorrow😵😂
