Observatory Hill Vineyard Observatory Hill is a boutique vineyard 10 minutes from the Hobart CBD. We currently do not have a c Rumney property in 1991.

With a long Tasmanian family tradition of working the land, vigneron Glenn Richardson, planted the first vines on their Mt. Situated at the entrance to the Coal River Valley wine region immense care and attention is devoted to the vines at Observatory Hill. re created by master wine makers, Alain Rousseau and Nick Glaetzer. With Nick being named ‘Australian Young Winemaker of the Year’ and Alain constantly acknowl-edged as one of Tasmania’s finest winemakers, we feel very privileged to have our wines made by this team of experts ‘par excellence’. The combination of their French style, wine making knowledge and our carefully selected grapes go together to create the high quality, award winning, boutique wines for which Observatory Hill is renowned.
