I have always loved to bake, though it is only in recent times that it has become more than a hobby. In 2016 and with three young children, I became disillusioned with the corporate lifestyle and decided to take my hobby to a new level. After training at the Australian Patisserie Academy with the famed Handi Mulyana, I was armed and inspired to start Bake Eat Love.

I’ve been working on trying to get bigger holes in my sourdough - it just seems more sourdough-y!! A higher hydration can achieve this, but the dough becomes stickier and more difficult to handle. I’m so pleased with how this loaf turned out 🤩
