A couple of weeks ago Horsham Apex Club had their annual handover dinner. We welcomed the new board members for 2026/2027-

Vale – Life Member Ken Dowsley

Horsham Apex Club 15 acknowledges with great sadness the passing of our Life Member, Ken Dowsley.

Ken made a valued contribution to our club and the wider community throughout his years of service and friendship. His dedication and involvement with Apex will be remembered and greatly appreciated by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Our sincere condolences go to Mary and Ken’s family during this difficult time.

Rest in peace, Ken. Your contribution to Apex will not be forgotten. 💙🕊️

! Please Share! Exciting times ahead regarding Apex Adventure Island. Over the years Horsham Apex club have invested time and money into the island for the community of all ages to enjoy a family friendly location to gather with things including the pump track, play equipment and plenty of room to enjoy the outdoors. There has been a lot of recent works happening on the island with 2 new footbridges installed at each end of the island thanks to Wimmera CMA the Apex club is working alongside them with future works on the island.Part of these possible future works the apex club has applied for a $50,000 grant through the HSCC and we have been successfully shorlisted to the final 3. The project includes 3 new shade shelters with picnic tables for the public to enjoy a comfortable shaded area while on the island. We kindly ask if your a financial member of the HSCC please click the link below and vote for the Apex Adventure Island project, the grant closes on the 30th of September so please vote and share the post to the committee for our best chances to secure funding to make these projects happen Thankyou.

Horsham Apex Club, cooking up snags for the Horsham West primary, Colour Run fundraiser.
All proceeds going back to the school for new play equipment.

The Longy B&S Ball would like to give a shout out to the below business's for their kind donations for the prizes throughout the day for this year's Longy Ball, extremely generous donations adding up to around $4000 worth of prizes for a few lucky patrons to walk away with. Thanks again for supporting the Longy B&S to put back into the community.

As the dust settles on another Longerenong B&S Ball the Horsham Apex club would like to give a massive shout out to the buisness's and services listed below in ensuring we had another successful Longy B&S Ball this year, without your support we couldn't run this event and be able to put the profits back into our local communities jump across to our www.longybns.com website and check out the history heading to see over the years where the profits of the B&S Ball go towards helping our communities.

How good is Apex Adventure Island!

We're not usually ones to post this kind of thing. But all of us here at Horsham Apex Club are pretty proud and have plans for some future upgrades to the Island that we would love to happen.
This would make the Island more usable in summer and more inviting for families.
