Authentic Homemade Italian Lasagna and Sauces delivered to your door. The close off for orders is Thursday 8am for Saturday delivery.

Homemade Eatz is run by home cook and Melbourne Italian wife and mother of two, Angela Kennedy. Angela's food is made using fresh, authentic Italian ingredients with age old recipes that have been loved for years. All of Angela's meals are delivered fresh to your door where you can heat it that day or freeze for later use.

*Orders for HOMEMADE EATZ are pre-orders only. If you miss the Thursday cut off, your meals will be delivered the following Saturday.

AND THAT’S A WRAP! Homemade Eatz has definitely ended with a giant BANG 💥. Such a mammoth week of lasagna making 💪. I was sure to pour EXTRA LOVE in every single lasagna as my way of saying Thank You…… to every single one of you….. for allowing Rose and I the honour of feeding you over the last 1.5 years.

Homemade Eatz was created when my business LASH ENVY MELBOURNE was forced shut due to Covid restrictions. It has helped to keep me sane through all these long Melbourne lockdowns and taken me back to one of my greatest loves, cooking 🧑‍🍳.

Rose has also returned to the food industry which has been her life, with her new business 👏 which honestly has the most incredible bread (and coffee/sweet treats/pies), all preservative free. It’s based in Kooyong so if you can get down there it’s so worth it!

As for me, I plan on focusing on the reopening of my 4 salons across Melbourne and my training academy which is anticipated to be 26 October 🙏🤞. I built these businesses from the ground up over the last 13 years and as you can imagine, re-booting them after so much pandemic destruction will require my 100% focus.

I have learnt so much about the food industry in this short time of bringing our homemade food to you. Most of all, it’s a tough gig. Definitely not for the faint hearted. It’s long hours on your feet and requires 100% passion and commitment. A massive round of applause to everyone in the food industry, you guys actually ROCK👏👏👏. I take my hat off to you. 🙇‍♀️

With that said, thank you again 🙏. I’ll see you around Melbourne this weekend as I deliver all of my lasagnas, sauces and bread to you - one last time.

LAST & FINAL WEEK to order Angela’s Lasagna! Yes, I am hanging up my lasagna sheets after this Saturday’s deliveries to focus 💯 % on the reopening of my salons across Melbourne, as we approach their reopening date of 26 October 🙏.
You can order your lasagna’s up until 8am Thursday for delivery this Saturday between 10am and 3pm. Keep in mind you can order multiple lasagnas and FREEZE them for later baking.
I would like to thank everyone for their incredible support of throughout this time and for allowing me to feed you with my love on a plate.

Lasagna days! A little glimpse of my lasagna assembly. I use 2 cheeses to layer, tasty and mozzarella. That 4 hour ragu is the red gold of course and my lasagna sheets are durum wheat made in Italy! That’s Amore 🇮🇹!

Lalalalalasagna! Is there a better day than lasagna day? Not in my world. The smell that permeates through the house (and onto the neighbours) is divine, I feel hungry all day 😋. Here’s a little snippet (and my first reel haha) of what I get up to!

Beef and Napoli Ragu - or RED GOLD! I’m off to deliver these today with all of my lasagna deliveries so my lovely customers can make spaghetti 🍝 with my sauce!
I honestly pour so much love into these sauces, and cook them for hours on end to make sure the flavour is all there for you.

A girl with a healthy appetite is a beautiful thing 💕

What a week of lasagna making! I was literally covered in ragu haha, I accidentally splattered myself and wowsers did I make a mess 🤪.

See you all tomorrow as I make my way around Melbourne delivering my trays of lasagna goodness to you. Many people forgot to order before the cut off so can I just remind you that it is every Thursday 8am for delivery that Saturday. Luckily I made a few spares so I was able to fulfil your orders.

Mountains of Lasagna 🤩 just what the doctor ordered!! I’m getting so many messages from my happy customers saying “This is the best lasagna I’ve ever eaten!” 🥰 Thats a pretty epic statement if you ask me and I’m chuffed!

Lasagna was coming out of my ears this week and I wouldn’t have it any other way! With this weeks orders now delivered I must say, it was sooooo good to be able to drive around Melbourne delivering my love in a tray to you all💕.

Featured above is your large lasagna. It is fresh and ready to bake within 3 days or freeze for another day. When it arrives to you it has baking paper and foil over the top, be sure to leave that on when you bake and simply remove the last 15 minutes of cooking. Also, be sure to take your lasagna out of the fridge for at least an hour before baking.

Happy Sunday everyone. I am taking orders now for delivery Saturday 18th September. I arrive at your door step between 10am-3pm. Cut off for orders is Thursday 8am, and remember, the best bread in the world from is now available with all of your orders. You can thank me later 😆.

RED GOLD. If you know you know. My Nonna’s were the guru’s of Ragu, (like all Nonna’s yeah) and both being from different parts of Italy meant both sauces were completely different - yet EQUALLY AMAZING. Let’s be real, I am never going to be as good as them, how can you compare your food to your Nonna’s?! But I give it a good crack. I wish they were both around to try my ragu and give me their feedback. I lost my last Nonna in July 2020, yep, right in the middle of that insanely long lockdown. Only 10 people were at her funeral. I was one of them, purely because I ‘won’ a name out of a hat. We were just about to give her the send off she deserved on her 1 year when lockdown 6.0 hit. Like seriously 🙄. My Nonna’s both had very strong faiths in God and I know that they are smiling down on me and looking out for me, and all of their children and grandchildren. Being in lockdown and being forced to ‘slow down’ has given me the time to remember them more and feel their presence, especially when I am in the kitchen. I hope I’ve done them proud.

DELIVERED FRESH TO YOUR DOOR EVERY SATURDAY BETWEEN 10AM AND 3PM!** Your lasagne will be delivered fresh to your home where you can cook it that day or freeze to cook at a later stage.

WHO IS ANGELA? Angela is an Italian girl born and raised in Melbourne who loves to cook for people. She is also the Founder and CEO of Lash Envy Melbourne and former MKR 2013 contestant! Â Angela's greatest joy is to feed people through her meals that she has poured her heart into, and after years of being told that her lasagne is 'the best', she has decided to bring it to you in lockdown.

**All orders for Angela's Lasagne are PRE-ORDERS ONLY. The close off for orders is each Tuesday at midnight for the Saturday delivery. If you miss the Tuesday cut off, your lasagne will be delivered the following Saturday.

INGREDIENTS

Beef, onion, garlic, basil, oregano, salt, pepper, pancetta, tomato paste, canned tomato, red wine, olive oil, lasagne pasta sheets (contains gluten), mozzarella cheese, tasty cheese, parmesan cheese, butter, full cream milk, plain flour.

COOKING INSTRUCTIONS *cooking times vary depending on your oven

Pre heat fan forced oven to 180c.Â Cover your tray of lasagne first in baking paper and then aluminium foil (this stops the foil from sticking to your lasagne). Place lasagne in preheated oven for approximately 40-45minutes, then remove the baking paper and aluminium foil. Place lasagne back in the oven for a further 15 minutes to golden up. Once cooked, remove your lasagne from the oven and allow to rest for 10-15 minutes and then serve. Angela's tip; enjoy with a fresh salad and a glass of red of course.Â BUON APPETITO!
