Clifton Farm

Clifton Farm We are a family run farm in the beautiful Huon Valley. We are passionate about ethically produced food. Clifton Farm is a fifth generation family farm.

Traditionally intensive orchards and hops, we are moving our business towards paddock to plate using organic permaculture principals. Our goal is to produce high quality food which is accessible to all. We grow rare breed lamb, cherries for "pick your own", and are experimenting with heritage cider. We are working towards getting our 1850's postoffice building progressed as a farm outlet. Watch this space for more diversification of our farm!

One of the privileges of living on a farm is being present for beginnings. One of the hardest things we have done, is watch our beautiful Smithfield Lily struggle with labour. So grateful for our local farm vet and nurse who worked on the weekend to deliver these two beauties safely. As expected, our Lily is a proud and attentive mum. And, we might say, we’re all a bit smitten over here.
