Happy Chuseok 🌕
Chuseok is one of the most special times of the year in Korea.

Autumn has arrived, the rice fields are turning golden, fruit is sweet and ripe, and the seas are full of beautiful seasonal seafood. It is a time of abundance, and a time when families come together to cook, make songpyeon, share food and simply enjoy being together.

If you are thinking of visiting Korea, this is one of my favourite times to go. The mountains are beginning to change colour, the markets are full of autumn produce and there is so much wonderful seasonal food to enjoy.

It makes me miss Korea a little more. ❤️
Wishing everyone a beautiful Chuseok filled with good food, good company and plenty to be thankful for.

Mama Kim’s sauces will be featured in a live cooking demonstration by Lyndey Milan OAM on the Maldon Salt Culinary Stage.

Come and meet Mama Kim, taste our products and explore the full range, including our award-winning kimchi, Kimchi Chilli Oil, Kimchi Salt and Korean sauces.

After our three kimchi varieties all received medals at the 2026 Sydney Royal Fine Food Show, our Kimchi Chilli Oil has joined them with a BRONZE MEDAL! 🥉
This one is very special to me. ❤️

Mama Kim’s Kimchi Chilli Oil was inspired by the irresistible flavour of kimchi sizzling in a hot pan. Made with our savoury kimchi powder and chilli, it brings a rich, toasty kick to almost anything.
Drizzle it over dumplings, eggs, noodles, pasta, oysters, soups or even hot chips. 🌶️
