All chooks are provided the most loving care that is needed, all chooks have access to a free range diet, and are only fed with the best quality food i can provide for them. My aim is to produce good quality healthy birds to backyard enthusiasts. I focus on providing you with quality fertile eggs ( fertility will be checked for each breed regularly before sold) All eggs will be sent in Egg Safe cartons to ensure they get to their destination in one piece. I will also have pullets and chicks available for purchase.

I apologise for being a little quiet on the page recently. It has been a very busy few weeks behind the scenes, with breeding pens being built and everything prepared for the upcoming season.

We’re also currently in the middle of spring calving, which is always one of my favourite times of the year, although certainly one of the busiest and most time-consuming!

I’ve now updated my website with the breeds that are still available, along with some exciting new breeds I’ll be offering this season.

Currently, I have my Salmon Faverolles, Blue & Mottled Brahmas, Barnevelders, Wyandottes and most colours of Pekin Bantams penned and preparing for the season. I’ll be checking fertility over the coming weeks, with my remaining breeds expected to be penned shortly after.

I’m looking forward to a successful breeding season and to sharing some exciting updates with you all along the way.

I swear my chooks eat better than I do! 🤣🐔

As some of you might already know, I'm a full-time dairy farmer as well as running my chook business, so I'm lucky enough to have plenty of fresh milk to spoil the flock.

Their favourite once a week treat is bread soaked in milk, mixed with soaked cracked maize and lucerne chaff. And of course, I can't leave out the Tuff Rock Super Tuff Poultry Supplement!

I've been using this supplement for almost a year now on all my birds from chicks and growers right through to my breeding stock. I've noticed a fantastic difference. Healthy, thriving birds, and it's definitely been worth every cent.

People often ask what incubators I use, and my answer is always RCOM.

I've been using RCOM incubators for over 7 years now. I started with the smaller RCOM 50 units and, as my breeding program grew, upgraded to the larger RCOM 380 and RCOM 720 models. Throughout that time, they've proven to be incredibly reliable and easy to use.

What I love most is that they're truly a "set and forget" incubator. The automatic temperature and humidity control takes the stress out of incubation, and the results speak for themselves. I've consistently achieved hatch rates above 90%, with excellent hatchability across all the RCOM models I've used.

The build quality is fantastic, they're easy to clean, and they've been a dependable part of my breeding setup year after year.

I'm also excited to see that Christine at Aussie Chook Supplies is now stocking the RCOM range, making these amazing incubators more accessible to Australian poultry keepers.

Just a quick update for everyone 🐣

I’ve been getting quite a few messages lately regarding fertile egg pre-orders, so I thought I’d jump on and give a little update.

We’re currently working hard behind the scenes to get all of the new pens set up and ready to go at the new farm. It’s a big job, but we’re getting there!
