It’s late winter but looking a lot like late spring. Check out this patch of volunteer cover crop, seed that matured over summer and germinated in the autumn. Well over waist high, thick and full of our underground livestock 🪱 … the chooks are pulling them straight from the ground with all the rain we’ve had this week.

South Geelong Farmers Market THIS SUNDAY! 🐔 Pasture Raised eggs direct from our small family farm, just on the outskirts of Ballarat 🐓🥚

🌱🐓 All our chooks are free to roam, rotationally moved each week around our paddocks, no chemicals, no hormones, no antibiotics. It's what 'Free Range' is meant to be... JUST NATURALLY GOOD EGGS! 🙌🏻👌🏻

👩🏻‍🌾 What we’ll have for you this weekend:
- A full range of dozens: 600g, 700g, 800g, and 850g ($8.50-$11) 🙌🏻❤️
- Egg trays (various sizes early!)
- Duck eggs! We have more on board than the past few markets, but probably not enough to stock them all market; unfortunately... First in best dressed.

If you can’t make it this Sunday, don’t worry! We’re at the market every 1st and 3rd Sunday of the month. 🐔

Ballarat Farmers Market JULY 25th AT THE SHOWGROUNDS!

Ballarat Farmers Market is relocating to the Showgrounds for the last three markets of Winter. We will be there with our fresh farm eggs! It should be a fantastic day sheltered from the wind and showers forecasted for market day. From all reports the market is fully booked with stallholders, so there should be plenty to see and buy.

When: July 25, August 8 & 22 (9am – 1pm on each market day)
Where: Ballarat Showgrounds, 6 Rosehill Rd, Mt Rowan (access from Midland Hwy)
Cost: FREE Entry & FREE Parking

Have you been to the new Ballarat Showgrounds? We're excited to be going there for the next three markets, using the South Pavilion (centre right of photo) as our indoor venue. The Showgrounds are just off the Midland Hwy, over the Ballarat Bypass, and only 10 minutes from our regular venue, the North Gardens Reserve. Please make the effort to come on July 25 and we think you'll love our proposed forever Winter home!
