🍻 Today is a special brew day at Stony Creek Brewing! 🍻
Today marks a milestone for our brewer, Jimin, as she brews her very first solo beer.
This brew has been designed and produced as part of the Beer Quality Beer Camp course run by the legendary Hendo, helping brewers deepen their understanding of beer quality, flavour, and process.
Jimin has chosen to brew a classic Old Ale — a rich, complex English style perfect for the cooler months.
What can you expect?
Deep copper to dark brown colour with a creamy tan head and excellent retention.
Intense malt richness layered with dark fruit aromas of plum, raisin and dried fig, supported by subtle herbal hop notes.
Rich malt sweetness featuring biscuit, toasted nuts and dark sugars, balanced by a firm bitterness and smooth warming alcohol character.
Medium-full body, gentle carbonation, and a long, satisfying warming finish.
We're incredibly happy with the work Jimin has put into this beer and can't wait to share the finished product with you all in the weeks ahead.
