Routine worming day for all adult and young adult birds. I use Avitrol Plus tablets because I know each bird has received the correct dose.

Avitrol Plus treats the major common poultry worms and has been a reliable option for my flock.

Some water-based wormers may not cover as many worm species, and occasionally birds will drink less when medication is added to the water, which can make dosing less reliable.

I prefer using a wormer that provides broad coverage and allows me to know each bird has been treated correctly.

This pullet was one of the girls coming out for a crest trim , this little head twitch she does is typical for silkies who struggle to see properly.
So if you see your silkie flicking their head it can be a good idea to trim it back to help them see better! 😌
