Sustainability commitments only matter when they're measurable. 🍃

Trisco Foods recently completed the ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) Micro-Credential; a Manufacturing Skills Queensland–funded program delivered by Skills Lab, a Tetra Tech Company to formalise something we'd already started: turning good intentions into structured, accountable practice.

The result: a credible baseline for our business travel emissions (Scope 3), built entirely from data we already had - travel bookings, vehicle usage, with no new reporting burden on our teams.

As our Chief Technology Officer 𝐃𝐫 𝐁𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐚 𝐌𝐨𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐥 puts it, the real shift was moving from tracking emissions outcomes to understanding the behaviours that drive them - giving our people ownership over the decisions that move the needle.

The program also became a talent development opportunity, with a cross-functional group from Operations, Sales & Marketing, and R&D stepping up as internal sustainability ambassadors.

This is one part of a broader ESG program spanning emissions, waste and water - and we're just getting started.
