JULIA CREEK BUTCHER CLOSES 🥩
🍗🥓 A family owned and operated outback butcher shop is closing its doors after 16 years, leaving a North West town without the service. 😢
👉 Julia Creek's butcher shop will cease operations tomorrow with the owners citing recent economic struggles, and a lack of potential buyers and apprentices, contributing to the closure.
💬 Manager for 15 years Tarj Wiles said it was a tough decision to make, but hopes a new buyer will come in and take over the business for Julia Creek.
"We've been for sale for quite some time now," Ms Wiles said.
"We have a lot of support from our community, it will be very sad to see it close.
"It's so hard to get a butcher these days but it's just not our time anymore."
