The Bureau of Meteorology has issued a severe thunderstorm warning, with Windorah among the locations that may be affected.

Storms across parts of the southwest and central west are expected to move northeast throughout the day and may bring damaging winds, large hailstones and heavy rainfall that could lead to flash flooding.

Please take a few moments to prepare:

โ–ช๏ธ Move cars undercover, away from trees.
โ–ช๏ธ Close doors and windows and bring pets somewhere safe.
โ–ช๏ธ Charge phones and power banks, and keep asthma medication nearby.
โ–ช๏ธ Avoid unnecessary travel and never drive through floodwater.
โ–ช๏ธ Shelter inside a strong building until the storm has passed.

Check in with family, friends and neighbours, and keep an eye on updates as conditions can change quickly.
