CLOSED SAT 16TH MAY (Tomorrow)...No we are not taking a break, actually the opposite we will be at Kadina Football and Netball Club for our VIP game day to promote Hedonbar Brewing Co.

We will have signs up, selling a few packs of beer so everyone can taste what we do here… and handing out awards at the end of the day. If you are around tomorrow swing by and say hi!

1 STAR...We don't normally do these type of posts, however every now and then we are taken aback.
Today we received not one but multiple 1 star Google reviews from a single group of families. Not concerned about a negative review, they happen from time to time and you take it on the chin. The concern here is three main points...

1. Safety: Children running around the venue screaming, without shoes, touching fire safety gear.

2. Peaceful enjoyment of other patrons: Whilst we were relatively quiet today, there were some lovely couples who came in to enjoy a quiet beer. A bit difficult when this family group allowed their kids, unchecked, to run around screaming in our venue. These other patrons left as a result

3. Enforcement vs Entitlement: It is our job as business owners, liquor licence holders and managers to ensure safety, adherence to liquor and venue rules and ensure a pleasant experience for all patrons and safety of staff. The entitlement of this particular group was at odds with all 3 points.

We are family and dog friendly and have been from the beginning. So many lovely families and pooches have enjoyed time at our venue. That said, this comes with a caveat of respect and courtesy for other patrons, staff, liquor license laws and the venue.
