AG PRECINCT UPDATE
This landmark Queensland project in bioenergy production is starting to take shape 🚧 👷‍♂️

Bulk earthworks are well advanced with the team preparing a solid foundation for the construction of our first biodigester.

If you’ve passed our Kalbar site you may have noticed the changes on the hill behind us. We are repurposing that material and will return the topsoil so it can be farmed in the future.

Join our team and help us build something big.

We’re looking for locals who are ready to jump into some seriously big machines, If you’re keen to work hard and operate great gear, please email [email protected].

Momentum is building and we’ll keep you updated at www.agprecinct.com.au

Meet Craig Di**le, head of agriculture at Kalfresh Vegetables. It’s precise, sometimes unforgiving work, to successfully harvest fresh produce to reach supermarkets by lunchtime the next day.

Craig and his team are at the forefront of new technology to help them in their effort.

“Farming with AI will be commonplace, but your boots have still got to get dirty and you’ve still got to have your hands in the soil,” he says. “I can’t see that ever being replaced.”

Writer Bruce McMahon spent the day with Craig for our latest ‘At Work’ story, which appears in OUTBACK’s April/May issue. Out now.

Come along and meet our incredibly talented farmers, get up close with working tractors and trucks, buy locally grown veggies and devour a carrot and beef snag and more.
