Gazza Downs Biltong is exploring an exciting new idea—placing our very own branded biltong vending machines in selected high-traffic locations around Kalgoorlie–Boulder!

Imagine having eight delicious Gazza Downs flavours available at the push of a button—perfect for busy workers, shift crews, gym members, travellers and anyone needing a proper protein-packed snack on the go.

We are now inviting expressions of interest from suitable:

Large workplaces and mine-site facilities
Gyms and sporting centres
Transport depots and large workshops
Hotels and accommodation venues
Busy retail or public facilities
Other secure, high-traffic locations

This opportunity will suit locations with strong daily foot traffic, extended operating hours, a secure indoor position and easy access for regular restocking.

All locations will be assessed individually, and minimum traffic and sales requirements will apply. At this stage, we are simply looking for the very best spots around town—no commitments are being made just yet.

THIS ISN’T JUST BILTONG — IT’S A MOTHER’S PROMISE THAT HER SON WILL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN.

When you see a packet of Gazza Downs Biltong, you may see a delicious, high-protein snack…but behind every packet is a family, a story and a legacy built from more love than I could ever put into words.

I was born in Zimbabwe, where family, hard work, beautiful African flavours and the smell of biltong were part of life. In 2001, Ross and I brought our boys to Australia in search of a safer and brighter future. We started again from scratch in our thirties, worked hard, raised our family and kept going through every challenge life placed in front of us.

Then, in 2019, our world changed forever when we lost our beautiful son Gareth — our Gazza — at just 22 years old.

There is no instruction book for surviving the loss of a child. Somehow, you keep breathing. You keep putting one foot in front of the other, even when your heart doesn’t understand how the world can continue without them.

Gazza Downs Biltong grew from that love and that loss.

I needed to create something that would carry Gareth’s name forward — something strong, honest and filled with the spirit of the young man we love so deeply. Gareth loved life, his family, the country and the rodeo. He lived boldly, and that same heart now sits at the centre of everything we create.

I don’t share our story for sympathy. I share it because when you support Gazza Downs, I want you to know exactly what you are supporting.

You are supporting an Australian family business built from African roots.

You are supporting a mother who refused to allow grief to have the final word.

You are helping us keep Gareth’s name alive, one packet, one customer and one new friendship at a time.

Our biltong is made by our family using premium beef, beautiful seasoning and plenty of care. It is air-dried, naturally high in protein, and available in eight delicious flavours. There is even a toothpick tucked inside every packet because nobody wants to finish their biltong and wear the evidence in their teeth!

This really is more than biltong.

It is our family’s story.
It is a taste of Africa.
It is love turned into purpose.
It is Gazza’s legacy — and we are only just getting started.
