I find if you want to be successful at growing lucerne you must do the preparation and yes we have been fortunate to have had 30ml of rain to germinate the lucerne and lupins.

Ideal for the lupins,Lucerne and Oats sown during the week.

It’s a challenge that I like doing. Growing lucerne for my self replacing merino flock.
This old machinery has sown hundreds of acres of lucerne over the last 25 years.

The two Rangeview rams I purchased from Western Australia on 17th November 2025.
Bare shorn, went out with ewes and worked straight away.
Five inches of rain in ten days.
We shore them today, 100 percent still white wool and perfect pasterns.

On Tuesday 3rd March we had Will and Harry Miller and Sam Gibson arrive at Home Estate shearing shed.
They did a magnificent job blade shearing our show sheep -
3 ewes and 4 rams.

K**arooka Park Poll Merinos had a fantastic day at the Loddon Valley Merino Field Day at Serpentine last Friday 27th February.
A very well organized display of twelve studs.
We came third in the pen of 3 Ewe Lamb competition and received 2 seconds in the Michell Wool Fleece competition
