We are excited to launch our new egg packaging! Featuring both our new logo and Nashi orchard in its background, the label represents who we are and our unique story of grazing chickens amongst our orchard.

The bees 🐝 have finished their job pollinating our fruit trees 🌳 and now it’s the start of swarming season. Eager to help, the kids get on their bee suits and head out with dad to catch the bees that have swarmed and re-house them into a new bee box.

We have just finished pruning our Plum & Nashi trees at Mulbrook Orchards 🌳. A big job, finished just in time to enjoy the beautiful fruit tree flowers! 🌸

This is Mandy, our gentle giant. Although she’s happy to check on the chickens once in a while, she prefers to be at the house with the family! 😀

This week at Mulbrook Orchards 🌳 we have been potting bare-rooted plum trees ready for planting in Spring. Thanks to “learning from home” we had 3 extra helpers!
We soak our trees in a mix of seaweed, beneficial microbes and nutrients before planting to ensure they get the best start.

Meet Our Maremmas!

We have 4 wonderful Maremmas who protect our chickens🐓. Over the next few weeks I’d like to introduce them to you.
This is Moses, our oldest and most protective and reliable Maremma. He loves a chase and the occasional rabbit, and as pictured here, he will go to great heights to get the food scraps before the chickens!
