The Ch*****ne Mojito 🥂 with Mumm

Your favourite summer cocktail, with a little extra sparkle.

When the mojito made its big comeback in the early 2000s, hotel bars around the world started serving this elegant twist on the Cuban classic. Fresh mint, zesty lime and a generous top of Mumm Grand Cordon make it the perfect drink for long summer afternoons.

You’ll need:
🤎 100ml Mumm Grand Cordon
🤎 8 to 10 fresh mint leaves
🤎 2 tsp caster sugar
🤎 15ml fresh lime juice
🤎 20ml 3-year-old Cuban rum
🤎 A sprig of mint to garnish

How to make it:

🤎 Gently muddle the mint leaves in a highball glass.
🤎 Add the sugar, lime juice and rum.
🤎 Fill the glass with crushed ice.
🤎 Top with Mumm Grand Cordon and garnish with a sprig of mint.

Bartender’s tip: Make sure the mint leaves cover the bottom of the glass. That way, you’ll get plenty of fresh mint flavour in every sip.

Ever wondered what the words on a Ch*****ne label actually mean? Here's your quick guide.

Blanc de Blancs: "white from whites", made only from Chardonnay. Think crisp, citrusy and elegant.

Blanc de Noirs: "white from blacks", made from the red grapes Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier. Richer, rounder and fuller in body.

Rosé: usually made by adding a small amount of still red w**e to the blend, bringing colour and fresh red berry notes.

Non-Vintage (NV): a blend of w**es from several years, crafted so the house style tastes consistent year after year.

Vintage: made only from grapes harvested in a single exceptional year.
