🥇 GOLD AT THE 2026 ROYAL QUEENSLAND WINE SHOW 🥇

We’re incredibly proud to share that our 2025 Hamelin Bay Chardonnay has been awarded a Gold Medal at the 2026 Royal Queensland Wine Show.

Making the result even more special, this was the very first wine show for our 2025 Chardonnay. To see it recognised with Gold on debut is a wonderful reflection of our Karridale vineyard, our winemaking team, and the outstanding 2025 vintage.

Fresh, vibrant and unmistakably Margaret River, this is a Chardonnay we’re immensely proud to share.

We are offering 4 days a week (including weekends) in a vibrant, creative and collaborative kitchen environment.

Whites are safely in the winery.
Now our attention turns to the reds.

Cabernet Sauvignon stands netted and ready — the last fruit we harvest and the one we never rush.

A slow climb up the hill to the cellar door, where patience becomes power.

What a week!

Sunrises over Karridale.
Cold hands. Full bins.
The steady rhythm of handpicking, row by row.

Every bunch harvested by hand. Every day focused on selecting only the most pristine fruit from our Karridale vineyard. It’s meticulous work — slow, deliberate, and demanding — but this is where great Chardonnay begins.

The team has put in an enormous effort this week. Early starts, long days, plenty of laughs in between… and fruit that has come in looking exceptional.

Hard work? Always.
Worth it? Every single time.

Now the next chapter begins in the winery.

A Hamelin Bay record 🦢🦢🦢🦢🦢🦢

We’re stoked to have six black swans back together on our dam — clearly even the swans know this is the time of year to slow down, reconnect and enjoy good company.

We’ll take it as the highest compliment that they’ve chosen Hamelin Bay Wines as their spot to relax, unwind, and enjoy each other’s company at sunset 🌅🍷
