Bresaola Carpaccio ❤️

This was one of the dishes I made for a clients bougie night in and it’s made its way to the starters part of nearly every dinner booking since then.

We already had crudo so I didn’t want to do another raw dish. Enter P.Princi Butchers bresaola. The perfect replacement. And to be honest it’s added something a little extra to the dish.

Simple ingredients. Done well. Served alongside some fresh focaccia. A perfect way to start a dinner.

I don’t see this beauty leaving the menu any time soon.

It even made it to the crown for a date night with hubby as per his request. And because I didn’t book Nobu in time. We had dinner in our room. Crazy I know.

Breasola, Rocket, Parmesan Cream, Lemon, Capers

Turns out The Dinner Planner is a little hard to fit into one neat box these days.

And I actually really love that.

Sometimes I’m building a grazing table.

Sometimes I’m cooking a long lunch for a birthday, feeding a retreat for three days or creating an entire dinner party for someone to enjoy at home.

Sometimes I get to dream up something completely different - like a w**e + cheese experience for a room full of people.

And if that wasn’t enough on 16 September, I’m opening the table for the very first Supper Club. An intimate night of shared food, w**e and good conversation.

Different events. Different food. Different people.

But the bit I love about all of them is exactly the same:

Creating really good experiences around food and giving people a reason to gather.

So if you have something coming up - a celebration, dinner, launch, retreat, corporate event or even just the beginnings of an idea - I’d love to hear about it.

You don’t need to have the menu worked out. That’s my favourite part.

Booking enquiries are through the link in my bio, or tell me what you’re planning below.

I am spectacularly bad at remembering to take photos.

Of the food I make. Of events. Of my actual life.

I get so caught up in the moment that it’s only afterwards I think… S**T, I didn’t take a photo 🤦🏻‍♀️

I’d love to show you all the things I’ve been working on lately.

Unfortunately you’ll just have to take my word for it

I’ve had this idea sitting in my head for months.

Every time I’d see a supper club pop up on my feed, I’d stop scrolling and think…

“I wish we had something like that here.”

Then one day it hit me.

Maybe I don’t need to wait for someone else to create it.

Maybe I can.

So… here it is.

The very first Dinner Planner Supper Club.

No set menu.

No knowing exactly who’s going to be sitting around the table.

Just beautiful seasonal food, great w**e and an evening built around one simple idea…

That some of the best conversations happen when we slow down and share a meal.

Whether you come on your own, with your partner or a group of friends, I’d love to welcome you.

Goodbye, Winter

Thursday 27 August.
6-8:30pm

20 seats.

I honestly can’t wait.

Do you ever find yourself scrolling and stop on those videos of supper clubs?

You know the ones...

One long table.
Beautiful food.
W**e.
Laughter.
Good times.

And you just think... how good would that be?

I do.

They always look for fun and inviting.

The thought of rocking up somewhere, not knowing a single person, sitting down at a table with 19 strangers and seeing what the night turns into... it seems kinda scary... but the fun kinda scary.

Maybe it's because food has always been my favourite way to bring people together.

Maybe we're all just craving a little more connection.

Maybe I'm just ready to stop waiting for someone else to create it.

So... I'm doing it.

Thursday 27 August.

One table.

20 seats.

A secret menu (because that's part of the fun).

Cocktails and w**e (of course).

That's all I'm saying for now.

I'll share more over the next few days while I figure this thing out... because I am actually just making this up as I go.

I still pinch myself that this is my job.

I get to create experiences that bring people together around a table, introduce them to amazing food and w**e and watch a room full of people laugh, chat and discover something new together. 🥰

When Lauren from Bike Bar asked if I could create a cheese masterclass for her community, I dove right in.

I knew I didn’t want to do an ordinary cheeseboard masterclass. If that’s all you want then Pinterest has about a million ideas 😉

It had to be a cheese and w**e night. 🍷🧀 What a fab way to start the weekend.

We explored the absolutely divine Gibson W**es - Dirtborn Barossa and paired each w**e with a carefully chosen cheese, talked about why they worked together, and then built each pairing with something a little extra (not just a water cracker).

Guests discovered w**es they’d never tried before. Cheeses they wouldn’t normally pick up.

These are the kind of evenings that fill my cup 🥰

A huge thank you for Lauren and the bike bar community for having me. What a fun room to spend an evening with.

If you want to try out the combinations I put together, I’ve included the cheese & w**e menu for you 🥂

I get asked this all the time. “Are you a private chef?”

Sort of. But also - not really.

I created Dinner Club, Delivered to be different. And I’m loving it. I hope you do to.

Ok, so what’s actually stopped you from hosting a dinner party lately?

For me I get caught up in thinking I have to do some sort of elaborate table thanks to all the amazing people on here showcasing stunning designs.

Is it the tablescape, the food, the organising or something else for you?

The reason no one calls a caterer for a group of 6?

Because caterers need big numbers to make it worth their while. Private chefs need big budgets. Restaurants need their table back in 90 minutes.

Dinner Club was designed for exactly the size gathering that fell through the cracks. And for friends that wanted to really enjoy each others company without rushing.

Six friends. Full feast. Delivered. Done.

Who would make up your crew of 6? Tag them and see who wants to start the ritual.
