Our NEW YouTube episode is out now and this one is a little slice of everyday life at No Eye Deer Farm.

🐑 We are wethering some of our lambs 🍼 Rob gets on the tools and builds our much needed bottle racks ❤️ We check back in on our little lamb with the troublesome leg 🐶 And you’ll properly meet the Lucky Litter as the puppies tackle worming day!

There’s no big dramatic storyline this week, just real farm life, jobs that need doing and animals that need looking after.

✨ THE LUCKY LITTER IS 3 WEEKS OLD! ✨

Our five little sausages are three weeks old!🌭 Chance, Ace, Clover, Penny and Star can now hear us, which is one of my absolute favourite milestones. Every morning I say hello and suddenly those tiny heads pop up it’s honestly the sweetest thing! 😍

Their little legs are getting stronger and they’re becoming more curious about everything around them. This week they’ll also have their very first taste of puppy food!

The really fun stage is beginning now ❤️

This video is a little different from our usual farm vlogs but hey, we thought it was time to share a little more about the sheep we love so much!

Three years ago, Daphne became the first pure Swiss Valais Blacknose sheep brought into South Australia and she completely changed the direction of our lives.

In our newest YouTube video, we’re going back to where this incredible breed began. We talk about their affectionate personalities, what the Valais Blacknose breed up program is and why we genuinely believe they make the most wonderful pet sheep.

For us, they are so much more than livestock they are part of our family, our farm and our future.

MEET OUR LUCKY LITTER
One whole week with these five little sausages and I think we have finally found the perfect name for them.

Our Lucky Litter. 🍀
Because honestly, I feel like the luckiest person in the world right now.

After dreaming about a Peaches × Sunny litter for so long, watching these five arrive safely and now getting to watch them grow every single day feels pretty special. 🥹

So, officially introducing…

🍀 Clover
🪙 Penny
⭐ Star
♠️ Ace
✨ Chance

At one week old, their days are still pretty simple… lots of sleeping, lots of milk and lots of snuggles with Mum. We have also started Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) and Early Scent Introduction (ESI), giving them tiny, age appropriate experiences each day to gently stimulate their developing nervous systems and introduce them to new scents.

And guess what… Clover is staying right here with us. I think she might just be my little piece of good luck.

Happy one week, Lucky Litter. We already love you more than you know.

Not sure Walter actually agreed to babysit 24 lambs and 4 kids… 😂

But the lambs and kids have decided his paddock is THE place to be, so I guess he doesn’t get much of a say in it. 🐏 Poor Walter!
