Disappointing to read the low blow directed at recreational shooters in the last paragraph of the article.

There’s far more evidence to suggest deer escaped from farms over the years and then may gates were opened and whole herds were released when the industry failed to be sustainable.

Ground based recreational & pro shooters are an integral part of feral deer control, which is often conducted on a no cost base for property owners whilst supporting their local fi****ms dealer & their families.

What are your thoughts?

Adelaide residents are discovering Bambi is not as cute and innocent as Disney portrayed her to be, with thousands of deer wreaking havoc in the suburbs.

No surprises here, take fi****ms off us and expect the numbers of rabbits, roos, goats, foxes, deer, hares, emu’s, pigs, horses, donkeys, camels etc to boom.

We took out 2 generations of foxes last night for a client in Kapunda.
4 x 2025 model cubs just outside their den, then mum & dad 5 minutes later on the otherside of the ridge.
