Mahjong Cake

The last time I made a mahjong tiles cake was many moons ago. So glad that mahjong is gaining popularity these days, amongst the young and old.

I never understood why it's so popular for centuries. When I auntie played with her friends, all I caught was the chattering among them. Now that I'm older and learnt the game myself, I can see why it's ao popular. The sense of community and chatting while focusing on your own game, is another level of socializing and formulating tactics in your brain. You get a full brain workout and calming at the same time because you're doing it with your friends.

When your friend asked for durian and mango as the cake topper but didnt specify they need to be edible/fresh fruit, they have to settle with what I came up.

I personally love durian but I can't keep them in the fruit in my fridge due to the small. Glad everyone thinks it's hilarious.

Wafer paper cake with raspberries.

I assured myself that sticking each wafer paper is going to worth the effort. Am I glad I stucked to it and finish this beautiful cake.

Gold Silver and Black Cake

Did you know that carrot cake was part of menu many moons ago? And it was very popular particularly for Easter. I'm sure the bunnies were really happy with them.

It is still not on our permanent menu but please ask if you want carrot cake as your cake flavour, and I'd be more than happy to do it for you.
