Flower Buttercream and Berry Cake

The berries this winter have been beautiful and abundant. I juat couldn't not use them more inside and on the cake. They just complete the flower buttercream on this cake.

50th Birthday Cake

A gray, silver, and black themed cake, very fitting for a 50th birthday cake.

Silver leaves, Silver cachouse, and black hundreds and thousands adorned the cake to create a luxuryl ook and texture.

When your little miss turned 13 and her favourite colour is maroon, you make it happened.
She asked for a simple, classic style cake, and in maroon buttercream. There's no more princess cake. No more cute cake. Just a simple, classy cake, for my 13 yo Lil miss❤️

Cheesecake

What is exactly this cheesecake? It's not the version most people imagine. It is literally cheddar cheese and spongecake. If you think why would I do this? 😅 This is the Indonesian version of cheesecake or also known as bolu keju. And this cake is my interpretation of it, added with my own little twist.

It is definitely one of my family's choice to celebrate special occasion that all generations can enjoy.

Keep swimming keep swimming...

Lately, cupcakes have been quite popular again and I've been baking more and more. If you've known us from our beginning, cupcake was what start this business, before we venture into custom cake. I'm not complaining, I'm embracing it.

My lil miss may not be happy about it. Less cake scraps for her😅 but I love how less there are less food waste with cupcakes and easy to distribute in parties.

So, are you team cupcake or team cake?

Mahjong Cake

The last time I made a mahjong tiles cake was many moons ago. So glad that mahjong is gaining popularity these days, amongst the young and old.

I never understood why it's so popular for centuries. When I auntie played with her friends, all I caught was the chattering among them. Now that I'm older and learnt the game myself, I can see why it's ao popular. The sense of community and chatting while focusing on your own game, is another level of socializing and formulating tactics in your brain. You get a full brain workout and calming at the same time because you're doing it with your friends.
