🌟 TEN 🌟
Olive and Thyme Catering is TEN.
What started in 2016 in our small home kitchen as a hobby to pass the time whilst I was on maternity leave has turned into one of Melbourne’s most recognised catering companies. Something we never expected.
We started with nothing, and built things slowly. Ilias quit his job shortly after and we went all in. We got a lease on our factory, we built a brand, and grew our clientele from one event to another.
As the word of mouth grew, so did our product offering and our team.
Through the years we have fed close to ONE MILLION people - a figure that truly blows our minds. From smaller gatherings at home to large events and activations, to weddings and funerals and everything in between.
We have been targets of jealous individuals who have tried to tear us down. We have just kept working, keeping our heads down and always showing up for our customers. The bigger we got the worse their jealousy became. We just kept working anyway.
Over the years we have been called “lucky”. It’s not luck. It’s hard work, long hours and days of sacrifice. We keep showing up because we love what we do, and our team is the strongest it’s ever been.
This year we put an offer on our factory and bought it from our beautiful land lords, the people who gave us a chance in the first place when they had every reason not to. We are so grateful. 🥲

We are so proud to have gotten to where we are today and can’t wait for the next ten years ahead!
