Its that time of winter again folks, the good people from Hobart Brewing Co. have once again produced their mid winter cult classic Tascadian Dark Ale. As always its a dark brooding melting pot of dark decadent roasted malt and assertive hops (Simcoe, Amarillo & Cascade).

However, this release also comes with a touch of sadness as this is the last brew that was brewed at HBC's Iconic Maq point Red Shed, before they started the recent move to North Hobart .

As always, Tascadian is here for a good time, not a long time. Get in before its gone.

Section 44's last release of 'Opening Statement' was extremely popular last year as it delivered great taste and great value.

This years release see's a slight change, from Sherry cask aging to Bourbon cask aging, and while the style varies a little, it still devlivers great value and flavour.

"Crafted from six batches of Tasmanian single malt whisky and aged five years in French Oak Sherry Casks. Layers of caramel, maple syrup and roasted marshmallows are balanced by subtle fruitiness and a soft creamy finish."

Hop Nation Kalash is one of the OG's of the style, and is back this year celebrating its 10 anniversary!
