From pellet to premium livestock.

Our Finisher Pellet is built to do exactly what the name suggests:

Because the last few weeks before selling matter just as much as the first.

Feed quality in. Results out.

B12 is like oil for the engine. But your livestock have to make it first.

Vitamin B12 is critical for energy metabolism, helping livestock turn nutrients into usable energy.

But livestock don’t simply get B12 from the feed.

Their rumen microbes make it.

And those rumen microbes need cobalt to synthesise B12.

So when we talk about cobalt in a ration, we’re not just ticking off a mineral requirement. We’re providing the fuel the rumen bugs need to produce B12.

Think of it like this:
Cobalt → rumen microbes → B12 → energy metabolism → performance.

It’s a small part of the ration, but it plays an important role in keeping the whole system running.

Fuel the rumen. Fuel the engine.

Macronutrients might make up the bulk of a ration, but micronutrients are what allow that ration to perform.

Energy, protein and fibre provide the fuel 🙌🏻

Trace minerals and vitamins support the biological processes that turn that fuel into growth, fertility, immunity and production.

It’s about getting the balance right.

That’s the difference between mixing feed and formulating a ration.

Spring pasture can change quickly and so can what it provides.

A green paddock doesn’t always mean stock are getting everything they need.

Before switching supplementary feed off, ask:

👉Is there enough pasture available?
👉Is it providing enough energy and protein?
👉Are they getting the minerals they need, including enough magnesium?
👉What are the nutritional demands of the stock?
👉Are they maintaining condition and hitting your growth targets?

Mineral deficiencies can have serious consequences, including an increased risk of hypomagnesaemia when magnesium supply is inadequate.

Use pasture to do more of the work, just make sure it can actually do the job.

If something needs building, fixing or fabricating...Jordan’s your man.

Our in house Mr Fix It, Jordan is a qualified boilermaker who spends his days building new gear, repairing machinery and fixing just about everything the rest of us manage to break.

If it’s made of steel, chances are Jordan can make it better.

Jordan is a keen race car driver, an accomplished cyclist and somehow still finds time to tackle marathons.

Safe to say he puts the rest of us to shame!

We’re lucky to have someone with his skills, work ethic and willingness to tackle any job that comes his way 💪
