Reading reviews like this absolutely fills my cup. 🤎

When I started hosting workshops, my hope was never just to teach people how to arrange flowers or make a wreath. It was to create a space where people could slow down, connect, try something new, and leave feeling inspired by their own creativity.

So many of us spend our days caring for others, ticking off lists, and putting our own interests aside. There is something special about taking a few hours to create something just for yourself.

Knowing that people leave feeling welcomed, inspired, and proud of what they've made means more than I can say.

But if you've ever wondered what the one tool is that never leaves my side, it's this planting knife.
It plants seedlings, divides perennials, lifts dahlia tubers, weeds garden beds, opens bags of potting mix, cuts twine, and somehow ends up in my pocket every single day.
Not the fanciest tool on the flower farm, but definitely one of the hardest working.

This week I’ve been in the Yarra Valley as part of Leadership Victoria’s Rural Women’s Leadership Program, surrounded by incredible women, big conversations, new ideas, and the kind of learning that stretches you in all the right ways.

There’s something special about stepping away from the farm and the everyday rhythm of life for a little while. Travel, education, and connection have a way of giving you fresh perspective — not just on business, but on community, creativity, and what really matters.

And now, coming home feels just as meaningful. Back to the flowers, the mud, the early mornings, and the life we’re building here at Meadowbrooke… but with new eyes.

Grateful for the opportunity, inspired by the women I met, and very ready for a cup of tea at home. 🤎
